What we do:
Our research span evolutionary ecology, community ecology and global change biology.
Research projects are equally split between applied issues of conservation importance and basic scientific questions involving evolutionary ecology and community ecology. The thread in common across our different research projects is that we strive to understand phenomena through the lens of sensory ecology.
Most lab news can be found through our tweets. Some recent highlights are below:
We are excited to announce that Dr. Sarah Jennings will be joining the lab as a Cal Poly Frost Postdoctoral Scholar in September 2022!
Clint was honored that our work was covered in Ed Yong's cover story in the Atlantic about sensory pollution and animal perception, PLUS his new book on sensory ecology "An immense world."
Congrats to both Maggie Mackinlay and Kerstin Ozkan! Both were awarded AOS student research grants and Kerstin also was awarded an Animal Behavior Society Student Research Grant!
Clint joined the Editorial Board at ESA's Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment
